Instant Text Pro - has three major functions.  First, is an expander.   This feature works similar to the Auto Correct feature in your word processor but is more sophisticated.  Second, once we have typed several of your documents, the program can automatically extract frequently used words and phrases, creating a custom database just for you.  The final feature is a line count program that is much more sophisticated and precise than the counters that come with word processors.  For example, we can set the controls to count the headers and footers only once in a long document.

Digital Audio Equipment and Software:

Olympus, ByteScribe, and ExpressScribe digital transcribers - plays .dss, .mp3, .wav, .vox, .msv, and many other digital audio file formats.
Start Stop - Media transcriber for digital movies, DVDs, etc., and for time-stamping transcripts.
Total Recorder - allows capture of streaming audio media from an internet source or during copying from, for example, a tape recording cabled into the computer..
Audio editing software - variety of brands and types of software that allow specific functions to help repair or clean up marginal audio. 
Audio conversion software - variety of brands.

Security:

We cannot reveal brand names of our encryption or security software; however it includes firewalls, antivirus, and spyware/adware protection, which are automatically updated as the vendor deems necessary. 

File encryption - Two different brands that will create self-decrypting archives are available.  Customers do not need software to open these encrypted files, just a password. 

File storage and transfer:

HIPAA compliant, secure, password protected file transfer site, offsite,  for customers' use in sending their audio files. Customers can upload files directly through a browser window thereby eliminating e-mail file size restrictions and other electronic transfer problems.   Note:  Customers can continue to send audio files via e-mail if they wish.  Customer files are archived to removable storage media in-house.
