Our digital equipment plays most .wav files formats. Other supported formats include AD/PCM Dialogic/OKI (Vox), TrueSpeech, PlayAll, MP3 and all Microsoft File Formats such as .wav, .asf, .wma, .snd., .au, and others, and .dss formats for the Olympus dictation devices and .msv audio format for Sony dictation recorders.
We can capture streaming audio such as Real Audio. These are the types of files you may find on the web that cannot be downloaded like a regular file (often because of copyright protection). Basically any sound that comes through our computer's audio card can be captured for dictation purposes.
Any audio file under 30 MB in size can be sent to us in an e-mail file attachment. We can also download larger audio files from a storage site or web page, and as mentioned above, re-record streaming audio.
