Mary Holmes and James W. Coulter
This Mary Holmes may be a sister or have another close relationship to William Holmes (husband of Anna O'Brien).
Mary Holmes bca 1830 in Ireland, married James W. Coulter (one source says James was born in Madison County, New York, another says Ireland bca 1837). Mary died in 1906 at Troy Center and is buried at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. James enlisted during the end of the Civil War and died of typhoid at Helena, Arkansas on April 12, 1863 (his residence at the time of his death was Troy, Wisconsin).
