Notes from divorce papers:
Mother of 11 children, 8 still living. Michael J. & Joseph W. no longer live at home.  Owned land in La Grange and Troy township.  Nursed 10 of her children, one did not live to nurse.  Johanna made an X for her signature.

Divorce started March 1870.  11 children born, 8 living with parents, I.e., Daniel 18, Johanna 15,  Peter 11, Edward 7, Mary 4, John 2.  Three of 11 children are dead and 2 of the remaining 8, to wit, Joseph and Michael J. , are of age.  Married December 17, 1844 at Town of Troy.  In 1870 Peter and Johannas' residence Town of Troy.  Peter can write, she makes mark.
