| Descendant charts - a condensed version of a family tree that shows the family structure beginning with the oldest known common ancestor. Not all families have a chart, so make sure to check the family group sheets as well. | |||||

| Information provided by other relatives. Thanks to the internet, several distant relatives have contacted me and been able to add to the family tree. The majority of their information has not been incorporated into my family group sheets or descendant charts. Before changes are made to my documents, I will need to prove this data. | Notes. Includes people and families who may or may not be related to my lines. Includes the Sullivan surname and Mary Holmes and her husband, James Coulter, and family. There are notes for the Shannahan's or Shanahan people of Walworth County, and for Miller, Deist, O'Brien, Hart, Holmes, and more. | |||||
| index Lists all the people in my records. This list is not in alphabetical order because I wanted to make it easier for people to find a name through the search engines. It will be easier for people searching to find William Holmes than Holmes, William. | |||||

| Sorry folks; I do not know more about Walworth county than what is shown on my pages or through these links. I never lived in Walworth county and have only visited a few times in my life. The best sources for Walworth County information is the courthouse in Elkhorn, the State Historical Society in Madison, and through the LDS. |

Missing people: Did you know these
people?
Joseph Dombrowski, born June 18, 1928. This was my mother's
brother. He was the youngest of eight children. His parents were Walter and
Josephine Dombrowski of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I believe this may be the same person
as Joseph Mark Dombrowski, born June 18, 1928, died 7-31-1987, and buried 8-5-1987 in the
Williamette National Cemetery in Multnomah County, Oregon. This second Joseph
Dombrowski had been in the US Air Force (A2C). The second Joseph's Dombrowski's
social security number was issued in Wisconsin, the same state where my uncle resided (and
the birthdates match). I believe his wife was Kyong Hee Dombrowski, and she died in
1990. Any information on either Joseph or Kyong Dombrowski would be appreciated.
Adam Atkinson, Adam James Atkinson, my grandfather, born 8-6-1884 in Wisconsin, the son of William Thomas Atkinson and Katherine Deist (also known as Katie or Catherine or Marion). He had red or reddish hair, smoked cigars at one point, was a carpenter by trade. He married Florence Miller June 18, 1913 and they had one son, my father, Carroll (Charles) Royce Atkinson, in 1917. Court records show he had some legal problems including problems paying the loan on his home, and on March 22, 1929, he signed a promissory note for $200, and sometime over the next several months, he voluntarily left his family and was never heard from again. He came from a large family, one of 13 children, and it is reported none knew of his location. If anyone knows anything about this man, I would appreciate it. I am interested in knowing if he remarried, if he had other children, and where he was buried.
