I use FrontPage 2002 to create individual pages and complete web sites.  This software not only saves man hours creating a site or page but can greatly lessen the risk of malfunctioning in the wide variety of browsers that your readers use. 

Of course, you can go and buy your own copy of FrontPage or some other html editor; however, there will be unique problems that arise that you will not be able to handle without experienced help. 

For some specific features, FrontPage requires that your host, the place that stores and transmits your page on user request, have extensions installed in order to implement some of the advanced features of FrontPage.  Some of these advanced features include forms, web search, hit counters, top 10 list, photo gallery (some of these features, particularly the web search and hit counter, can be implemented by remote hosts, so we don't need FrontPage for those features).  Web page features that any host service can handle include any type of graphics/pictures, special effect navigation buttons, tables (including special cell effects), and many other items.  This page was created without the use of extensions or images.

Frames can be used although we generally do not recommend them because of the problems search engines may have indexing them (the end result could be that your reader may end up opening only one frame instead of the two- or three-frame spread).  Our goal is to create pages that will be indexed and easy to find.
