Thread Crochet Links

One day I looked for thread crochet links for my own reference and made a list of sites that had free crochet patterns.  I was interested in crocheting doilies, placements, and decorative items for Christmas presents using thread.  Of course, I got carried away with this project, so you might find a few yarn projects too.  There are sites with instructions, how to make stitches, and so on.  Sections to this page include: Instructions and tips; Doilies, placemats, runners and similar items; Miscellaneous projects; Suppliers and Vendors; Pictures only; Snowflakes; Filet crochet; Crochet webrings; Links to more links: Recommended sites

Note:  For any link that appears to not work, copy it and past it into the box at http://web.archive.org, and maybe they will have a copy of the archived page.  If a site does not load all of its graphics, hit your refresh button.  If you cannot understand the text link on a foreign language site, hold your mouse over the link and look at the status bar (you can turn it on in your browser settings) because sometimes the link code is in English.
